About WorksNet

We are a technology-first company headquartered in Pune, India, that helps global enterprises build dedicated engineering teams and deploy AI-powered automation. Our model combines forward-deployed engineering, AI agent development, and full GCC build-out services into a single, integrated offering.

Our Story

WorksNet started from a frustration: the traditional offshore model was broken. Companies would spend 12-18 months navigating Indian regulations, struggle to hire quality engineers without local networks, and end up with teams that operated like an outsourced vendor rather than an integrated part of the business.

We built WorksNet to fix that. By combining AI-powered recruitment pipelines, compliance automation, and a forward-deployed engineering approach, we compress what traditionally takes over a year into weeks. More importantly, we ensure the teams we build are genuinely integrated — sharing tooling, culture, and sprint cadence with the parent company.

Along the way, our forward-deployed engineers kept uncovering the same pattern: clients had dozens of manual workflows that could be automated with well-built AI agents. So we expanded into custom workflow automation — embedding engineers who identify these opportunities and ship solutions directly.

Today, we serve enterprises across financial services, SaaS, healthcare, and AI/ML — helping them build dedicated teams in Pune, deploy AI automation, or both.

What Makes Us Different

  • Problem-first approach: We embed engineers to find real inefficiencies before proposing solutions
  • Your team, your IP: Everything we build or hire belongs to you — no lock-in, no recurring platform fees
  • Technical depth: Our engineers ship production systems — LLMs, data pipelines, full-stack applications, infrastructure
  • Transparent pricing: Cost-plus model with full visibility into team costs, margins, and infrastructure spend
  • Pune's talent ecosystem: Deep networks across India's fastest-growing tech talent hub

Our Core Values

These aren't aspirational — they're the standards we hold every engagement, every hire, and every internal decision to.

Ownership

We treat your problems as ours. No finger-pointing, no 'that's out of scope.' If it matters to your business, it matters to us. We own outcomes, not just deliverables.

Transparency

You see everything: team costs, infrastructure spend, hiring pipeline metrics, project velocity. We don't hide behind opaque pricing or vague status updates.

Craftsmanship

We write code meant to be maintained for years, not just shipped. Clean architecture, thorough testing, proper documentation. The boring fundamentals done well.

Speed

Bias toward action. We'd rather ship a working prototype and iterate than spend weeks on architecture diagrams. Time-to-value is the metric we optimize for.

How We Work

We operate differently from traditional IT services companies. Here's what to expect:

1

Direct access to engineers

No project managers acting as intermediaries. You talk directly to the people writing your code.

2

Your tools, your stack

We work in your GitHub, your Slack, your Jira. We adapt to your processes rather than imposing ours.

3

Weekly demos, not monthly reports

We show working software every week. Progress is measured in shipped code, not slide decks.

4

Knowledge transfer built in

Every engagement includes documentation, pair programming sessions, and a structured handoff plan. We build to exit.

Headquartered in Pune, India

Pune is India's fastest-growing technology hub — and we chose it deliberately. Unlike Bangalore's congested market where attrition rates hover at 20%+, Pune offers a deep talent pool of engineers from premier institutions (IIT, COEP, VIT, Symbiosis) with significantly better retention.

The city's infrastructure has matured rapidly: modern co-working and office spaces, international airport connectivity, and a cost of living that attracts senior talent who'd otherwise be priced out of Bangalore or Mumbai.

For our clients, this translates to engineering teams that stay longer, cost less than the traditional GCC hubs, and benefit from a growing ecosystem of AI and deep-tech companies in the region.

Talent density

800,000+ engineers in the Pune metro area across IT, automotive, and deep-tech sectors

Timezone overlap

IST enables 3–5 hours of overlap with both European and US East Coast teams

Cost advantage

15–25% lower operational costs compared to Bangalore for equivalent talent quality

Retention

Lower attrition rates than Bangalore and Hyderabad — teams that stay together ship better work
